Why US Builders exists
US Builders started with a simple observation: public buildings deserve better contractors.
Too often, government construction goes to the company that's best at winning bids, not the one that's best at finishing projects. Agencies end up with change orders, missed deadlines, and closeout packages that take a year to collect. The people working inside those buildings, the ones processing benefits, dispatching crews, and protecting public lands, live with the consequences.
We set out to be a different kind of contractor. We hold both a general building license and an HVAC license, so we can deliver the most common facility projects without handing off half the work. And we treat the parts of government contracting that others see as red tape, like submittals, payroll, safety, and documentation, as part of doing the job well.
The name says what we're about. We're US Builders: we build for the public, and we take that responsibility personally.
Our mission: deliver government facility projects on time, to spec, and with nothing left to chase, so the people who serve the public can get back to it.
How we work
Say what we'll do, then do it
Our bids reflect the job we'll actually build. If a schedule is tight, we say so before award, not after.
The paperwork matters
A project isn't finished until the owner has everything they need to run the building and close the contract.
Safety comes first
No schedule pressure is worth an injury. Anyone on our sites can stop work if something isn't safe.
Respect the people in the building
We work in other people's workplaces. We keep it clean, keep it quiet when it matters, and keep them informed.
Pay people right
Correct classifications, correct wages, and prompt payment to our workers and our subcontractors. Every time.

Problems get smaller when they're raised early. We call before you have to call us.
